A tall white painted stone circular tower lighthouse with a traditional light and buildings attached situated near Dungeon Banks on the River Mersey.

It is now a private dwelling house.

Built in 1906 the tower is 50 feet high and the light was visible for 7 miles.

The light was made redundant in 1958.
