currently operated by Trinity House
situated on the headland. Built in 1841
the tower
is 42 feet high and the light is visible
for 18 miles
.

Light – A tall white painted brick tower
lighthouse with buildings attached. This
redundant lighthouse has had the light
removed and replaced with a now redundant
coast guard watch room. Built in 1714 the
tower is 75 feet high and the light was
visible for 20 miles.
It
was made redundant in 1910.



When
visiting this Lighthouse, you enter a car
park which shows a sign that there is no
turning beyond this point. we did come
across this area where you could turn
around, but be aware that there are
Private Houses at the end of this track.
