I could not resist in adding this Culinary Experience to my site.

This seems to be a Dish peculiar only to the 

Algarve Region of Portugal.

DIY indoor BBQ

(no charcoal insite)

Steak on a Stone

step 1.

You put on a Stripey Apron.

step 2.

you are presented with your wooden board with a VERY HOT stone. a bowl of Butter & Garlic and a bowl of Pepper Sauce.

step 3.

sprinkle a generous amount of Salt on to the Stone.

step 3.

Spoon on the melted Butter & Garlic.

watch the melted Butter & Garlic sizzle on the Stone.

step 5.

add your piece of Steak.

step 6.

Slice the Steak in to thin pieces

step 7.

Dip the cooked piece into the Pepper Sauce.

step 8.

repeat this process until the Steak has been consumed

Health & Safety WARNING

The Melted Butter & Garlic can "SPIT" due to the temperature of the Stone.
